Daycare Helper:

Time Commitment expected: Full or part time position available.

Description of Opportunity :

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

1. Assisting in planning and implementing the program under the direction of the home daycare person.
2. Assisting in planning and preparing the learning environment, preparing needed materials and supplies.
3. Supervising the home when the daycare provider is out of the room or house.
4. Helping with general housekeeping tasks.
5. Assisting the home daycare person in any other appropriate ways.
6. Maintaining professional attitudes and loyalty to the home daycare at all times.
7. Helping each child become aware of each others need for  love.
8. Participate in recommended training programs, conferences, courses and other aspects of professional growth appropriate for Family daycare persons.
9. Ability to work in a team teaching situation and relate well with the children, parents and daycare provider.
10. Awareness and acceptance of learning disabilities.
11. Ability to handle discipline problems.
12. Positive appearance, attitude and enthusiasm
